Abstract: On the morning of 2nd April 2018, an internal research project conference on The National Social Science Fund Major Research Project, titled “The transformation mechanism and system formation of the harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics” was successfully held by CIID in conference room 9503 in Jingshi Hotel.

On the morning of 2nd April 2018, an internal research project conference on The National Social Science Fund Major Research Project, titled “The transformation mechanism and system formation of the harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics” was successfully held by CIID in conference room 9503 in Jingshi Hotel.

Project groups with research focusing on New positioning of labor relations with Chinese characteristics, New economic formation’s effect on labor relations, Migrant workers’ harmonious labor relations, China’s oversea investment enterprises’ labor relations and Labor relations’ coordinating system formation all presented their up-to-date research progress and agenda. Director Song Xiaowu, Executive Director Li Shi and Vice Director Wan Haiyuan provided various groups with detailed and targeted comments. 

Director Song mentioned that labor relation is a major issue in the Chinese economy, especially as we have entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. At the moment, the transformation mechanism and system formation of the harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics needs additional attention. There is a great hope for breakthrough on both theoretical and practical concerns through these research projects to positively impact Chinese economic society.

 

The study on “The transformation mechanism and system formation of the harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics” was initiated by our institute in 2016 and established as one of The National Social Science Fund Major Research Projects. The project groups have held frequent internal project meetings and consistently working on getting more in-depth and high-quality results and findings.
